Terms and Conditions

Cancellation and deposit refund terms

The rental is considered “booked” or “fixed” when the Tenant sends DIVA a copy of the payment of the DEPOSIT via online PayPal or credit card, equal to €50.

In case of cancellation by the Tenant, the reservation will be automatically considered terminated. DIVA will refund 100% of the DEPOSIT only in the following cases:

  • if the LESSEE decides to request cancellation of the reservation at least 3 days before the rental date
  • if DIVA decides to cancel the booking (for example if, at the sole discretion of DIVA, bad weather prevents the start of the rental, unless the lessee decides to book the rental on a new date)

Other conditions

The rental fee is paid in full to DIVA by the start of the rental period. If, for reasons attributable to the Renter or one of the passengers, the rental ends 30 minutes after the scheduled time, DIVA is granted the right to request an increase of €50 for every 30 minutes of additional delay. Payment to DIVA of the aforementioned increase must take place no later than the end of the rental period.

The Lessee shall be entitled to a proportional reduction in the rental amount in the event of early termination of the rental when this is caused by DIVA and/or by severe bad weather which, at the sole discretion of DIVA, prevents the safe navigation of the vessel and the persons on board.

In any case, other than the cases mentioned above, termination of the rental is excluded.

Fuel and any damages

The vessel must be returned with a full tank at the end of the rental.

If DIVA detects that the fuel is not as requested, it will apply a penalty of €50, in addition to the payment for the fuel used during the rental.

  • Loss of Anchor €75
  • Loss of Anchor Chain and Rope €150
